Take a house-made hollowed ice sphere*, with a hole at the top. Stir all cocktail ingredients in a mixing glass with one large ice cube. Place the frozen, hollowed sphere in a bucket glass. Then using a small funnel, and filtering out the large ice cube, pour the chilled liquid into the ice sphere through the hole in the sphere. Garnish with a slice of fresh peach. Serve immediately, using a small mallet to crack the sphere open at table side. As the cocktail spills into the glass, the ice sphere becomes the “rocks” for the drink. Enjoy!
*If you do not have the materials needed to make the ice sphere, you can use one large ice cube instead.
SILVER STAR CAFE
Silver Star Cafe is a hidden gem: an intimate, upscale rustic cafe with award-winning Roots Cuisine-- a contemporary, from-scratch, diverse expression of regional foods and flavors of the American Melting Pot. It is a gathering place where locals and guests alike are treated as welcome friends, where the focus is on great food, ambiance, service and acoustic music-- what we call "The four legs of our table." There is a cozy dining room with only 50 seats, and in warmer months, additional dining on a wrap-around outdoor patio and plaza. Lunch is offered Monday through Friday, brunch Saturday and Sunday, and dinner nightly. Although there is nothing diner-like about the place, the Food Network chose to feature this tucked-away little spot on “Diner’s, Drive-ins and Dives.”
PARK CITY LIMITS-- LIVE MUSIC AT SILVER STAR CAFÉ!
Every Thursday, Friday and Saturday, the Cafe offers an intimate, live acoustic music dinner show featuring all-acoustic folk, jazz, blues, Americana and bluegrass, with talented singer-songwriters and musicians from the local region as well as national touring artists, performing for dining guests of Silver Star Cafe. During winter and inclement weather, performances are held on an intimate indoor stage, with an atmosphere similar to a house concert. In warm summer months, shows are outside, on the patio stage. There is no charge for the music, but guests must be dining at the Cafe. These performances are very popular, and seats go fast. Dinner reservations are strongly recommended.
