TO FEATURE 30 RESTAURANTS
PARK CITY’S LONGEST OUTDOOR DINNER PARTY RETURNS JUNE 22.
Fire up the ovens and shine the silverware — thirty local restaurants are taking part in the Park City Area Restaurant Association’s annual “Savor the Summit” outdoor dinner party and concert Saturday, June 22.
Hundreds of residents and visitors will sit together at the summit’s “Grande Table,” which will run down the center of Historic Main Street and the heart of Park City’s renowned restaurant district. The 30 participating restaurants will offer their choices of dinner and drinks, with menu prices ranging from $40 to $150 per person. You don't need a ticket, but you do need to make a reservation with the restaurant of your choice.

On Sunday, May 12, restaurants across the Park City area are offering a range of special menus and discounts, from lump crab-cake Benedict at the Deer Valley Grocery Café to coconut French toast at Glitretind.

When Deer Valley Resort today, Dec. 8, visitors will discover some significant changes to the dining scene. Never content to rest on their laurels, regardless of the mountain of awards they’ve garnered, the folks at Deer Valley strive to improve with each new ski season. At a recent tasting to sample some of the new dishes being offered at Deer Valley Resort restaurants, I have to admit I was mightily impressed—not an easy feat given the already stellar food and service that Deer Valley offers.

WINNING COCKTAILS FROM THE PARK CITY COCKTAIL CONTEST
Since 2006 the Park City Area Restaurant Association has been hosting the Park City Cocktail Contest. Over the years local mixologists have competed to create a cocktail that would represent the spirit of Park City. The winning mixologist at each event received a $100 cash prize, a trophy and, in a town with close to 30 bars, serious bragging rights. The drinks were also be made available for purchase after the event, and it will appeared on drink menus throughout Park City.

Montage Deer Valley Mixes Winning Concoction at Annual PARK CITY COCKTAIL Contest
Dave Wallace representing the Montage Deer Valley, concocted the winning cocktail Friday night, when a panel selected this original cocktail, the Mountain Derby as Park City’s “Signature Cocktail” for fall and winter 2012-13. The Mountain Derby beat submissions from 13 other local bartenders and mixologists, who together took part in the Park City Restaurant Association’s fall and winter cocktail contest, which was held at The Sidecar.

The Park City Area Restaurant Association in conjunction with Young’s Market Company ~ Spirits Portfolio are gearing up to host the fall edition of the semiannual “Park City Cocktail Contest” fundraiser for the People’s Health Clinic on Friday, Oct. 12. Sixteen of the area’s best mixologists will compete at the Stein Eriksen Lodge Deer Valley to concoct a drink that will be crowned Park City’s “Signature Cocktail” for fall and winter 2012-2013.

Cody Childers from Easy Street was awarded local bragging rights at the Park City Area Restaurant Association (PCARA) Winter Cocktail Contest held October 25th. His award winning concoction "The Pommard" was dubbed Park City’s official winter cocktail for the 2011/2012 season by a panel of local judges and will be available in restaurants and bars throughout Park City.
